Races
Androids
Not really considered a race, but many were created under the Red Ribbon Army, but especially under Dr. Gero's intelligent brain. These creatures were artificially made sub-beings who mastered higher level of intelegence and power then a normal organic being of itself. Many Androids were made purely from scratch, but others, such as Anroid 17 and Android 18, were made form organic compounds, makin them more stronger and the ability to perform more techniques than others.

Animals
There were many featured in the Dragonball series. Some major ones that were mainly based on were Oolong and Puar. They are considered animals, with very low powerlevels, but able to perform many little tricks such a body change.

Changelings
A very evil race of mysterious origin. Possesing the power of Transformation, they can change form at will. Freeza has the most forms. This race is asexual.

Dragons
The dragons are made by the nameks and have the ability to grant wishes. They were considered very strong, but were not really brought out until the GT Series. They were really powerful, and put up a good fight for the Z Warriors. In the GT Series they WERE NOT really considered Dragons, but were a transformation of them.

Genie
These creatures are introduced throughout Dragonball, but the most famous is Mr. Popo. He is a very peaceful character, and never really realeases his energy, so it was unkown. The genies would ride around in carpets, but did not have the ability to grant wishes, but they gave insight on the situations that were involved through Dragonball.

Humans
Humans are very weak beings from the planet Earth. Most are very selfish and rely on the Namek's and Saiyan-Jins to save their f*cking lives.

Kaio
The immortal gods of Heaven. They were mainly all supposidly destroyed by Buu. They were very proud of themselves, but were very helpful when needed.

Kaioshin
The higher gods of Heaven. They are not physically strong, but are very helpful in their own ways.

They are a mystical race, who are not very powerful, but will put up a good fight. (Not Majin Buu)

Nameks
They are a peaceful race with green skin and antennae. Nameks have the ability to enlarge themselves to any size and to stretch there arms to a size which even man can't imagine. They can also replace there body parts (if they loose an arm they can easily grow it back in seconds). One part of the body they cannot regenerate is their head, so if their head is blown off, bye bye Namek. Nameks are a Unisex race which means they dont have boys or girls they just have one sex. Which means only one person is needed to have a child. Namek children are born in eggs and hatch minutes after birth. The Nameks are responsible for creating the dragonballs.

Saibamen
These creatures were genetically produced by the Saiyan Race to help them get stronger. They did pose a threat to the Z Warriors, but that was the stage where they were not very strong.

Saiyan-Jins / Saiyans
The Saiyan-Jins are a ruthless race who love to battle and become stronger than any race in the universe. They lived on the
Planet Vegeta until it was desroyed by Freeza to keep the Saiyan-Jins from rising up and over destroying him. He also feared that the Super Saiyan-Jin legend was true and he knew that he was not strong enough to fight such a contender. When a Saiyan-jin recovers from injuries of battle his power is doubled to make him even stronger. This is an advantage for the Saiyan-Jins on there enemies. Saiyan-Jins have a tail when they see the full moon light they transform into Weare Monkeys, also known as Oozaru. This is their strongest form other than Super Saiyan. Without there tail they can't transform. Saiyan-Jins are part of an organization
that travel to planets and take them over to sell the planet for a profit. They send babies to weaker planets, such as Goku, but he suffered from amnesia, and could not remember his duties on the planet earth. Adults were sent to stronger planets.

Sufuris (Tsufuris/Tuffles)
They are a very intelligent group of people who rely on technology to live their life. They were part of Planet Plant, but were destroyed by the Saiyans on a dreaded Full Moon. Their history is roughly known to us, but records were destroyed too.

Yadrat
The weird faced race that helped Goku maneuver the Instantaneous Transmition technique. They were not really mentioned much in the series.
