Story Arcs
Naruto consists of various arcs.. They are similar to what you would call a saga in Dragon Ball Z. Naruto part 1 consists of the first 135 episodes of the Naruto anime and 238 chapters of the manga. Naruto part 2 begins with Naruto manga chapter 245, and has not been made into an anime yet. In between Naruto part 1 and part 2 is the Kakashi Gaiden arc. It has nothing to do with our hero Naruto directly, but it reveals how his sensei, Kakashi, obtained his Sharingan. The Kakashi Gaiden spanned six manga chapters, from chapter 239 to 244. Like Naruto Part 2, the Kakashi Gaiden has also not been made into an anime.
