Naruto: What is it?
NARUTO is a really cool Japanese anime created by a genius named Masashi Kishimoto.
The story is set around a place called the Hidden Leaf Villages, and is centered on
a mischievous 12-year-old boy, Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto has high goals in life. His dream is to become
the number one ninja in his village, the Hokage, so everybody will respect him.
For Naruto, this is a very difficult and daunting task, as Naruto has an evil Demon Fox sealed
inside of him. The Demon Fox once terrorized the village and killed many people before the 4th Hokage sealed it
inside the belly of a new born child, coincidentally happening to be Naruto.
Most of the adults in the village dislike Naruto because of the Demon Fox is inside of him.
They feel Naruto is a Demon Fox, and don't even acknowledge his presence. As a result, the Hokage made a rule stating that no
other child
should know about the Evil Demon Fox living inside of Naruto, or else the
children would dislike him as well.
The attitudes of many parents toward Naruto, however, make the children of the village scared of Naruto, and tend to stay away from him as well. As a result of all this, Naruto is determined to earn the villages respect by becoming Hokage! Through sheer determination, Naruto showed his teacher Academy teacher, Iruka, that he is worthy of being a ninja. He becomes what is called a Gennin (a low level ninja, its where all new ninja start) and is assigned a new and more powerful teacher named Kakashi Hatake, who will guide Naruto, as well as 2 of his classmates (Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha) in becoming more powerful and skilled ninja.
They face many obstacles and adversity, but their goal is clear...to be the top ninja in their village!
